Well suffice to say I didn’t make the cut last night 
. I felt I did well with my questions, but I think they wanted girls willing to talk about disparity and suffering. I dunno, in SL I get to leave most of that behind. I was trying to be positive and as one judge told me after the judging I was the most “progressive”. At least one person got the message! Today I had the honor of attending a viewing of art produced by Blue Tsuki.
Blue, shown here with LaDonna Upshaw, is a very creative and accomplished artist here in SL and RL.

Sorry if my post is a bit late but my cold is still in full force and I am either burning up or sweating like crazy. (((Shiver))). So far I would have to say that this blogger party was among the best. The games were fun, the props a blast and the good company was surely evident.

With today’s date of 4/20 I can expect a lot of wackiness at the blogger party hosted by Tymmerie Throne. I really enjoy reading her blog because she is very smart and her sense of humor is very keen 
. I will definitely be there even with this cold I am coming down with, blecch. I hate springtime colds 
. I see we are supposed to dress up in a costume, hmmmm, I wanted to come in a short little, cheeky outfit like this:

Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure to see Sting Rhode perform at the Romantic Yacht Club (not a sailing group, social stuff). He plays caribbean music via a keyboard and the steel drums from his studio in Barbados. When he plays you just gotta get up and dance! I dragged Rav over to dance and managed to capture some video. I’ll try to post that on Flickr later.
I have to say that the v7 dance by Craig Altman is probably the best dance out there. The eye contact between the avatars is very nice and makes for nice pics . Now if Rav can take off them sunglasses !!!

One Year in a NORA Skin! Here I am one year ago! The skin was a Nora Entice: Espresso - Scarlet. It really changed GoSpeed’s appearance dramatically. Heh heh, notice that I lack my trademark Rose Tattoo on my left boob :). I now wear the newer Samantha line of skins, but it still retains a lot of my previous look

The title of the post should sound familiar to Sci-Fi fans as a story from Harlan Ellison. It is very appropriate for how I feel right now. Things happen in RL and SL that one simply cannot talk about. But sometimes you need to find release somewhere. At best I can muster is a silent scream.
The betrayal was deep, profound, and all encompassing. Without remorse and with surgical precision I was traumatized, exiled, smeared, and my contributions erased. A knife was placed to my throat and on the throats of my close friends. Many just shrugged and looked away. Some clammed up for fear they would get the knife. Others danced on our graves, delighting in our misfortune. A very small few defended us in words and deeds and they will never be forgotten. For many reasons I simply cannot talk about it. I must endure the screams, the rage, despair, sadness, and my loss in complete silence.
My life has been dismantled and I must find a way to repair it. I have lost faith in so many people, been disappointed by their actions and words. I am not an empty shell. Inside my avatar is my heart and my soul. But sadly there are many out there who are empty inside, without a soul or an ounce of decency. Somehow I will find a way through this. I will endure and survive. Hardened, careful, and scarred. But my avatar will not show this. You will see this and not see the pain.
